Nanzan Dojo Australia offers membership with both GWNBF and KJJR. Each membership is separate and is required for you to grade in respective styles of martial arts. As a member you are registered as a student with the Honbu Dojo in Japan. Once registered with the Honbu Dojo students are able to train at other Genbukan dojo around the world by arrangement through the Nanzan Dojo Dojo-Cho. Membership has three types Initial, Annual Renewal Kyu Rank and Annual Renewal Dan Rank. All membership fees are detailed in the Nanzan Dojo Australia Fee Schedule. (See Classes page.)
The initial membership is paid once you commence training and provides you with an exclusive Genbukan or KJJR group patch, a technique manual and an official training passport. Annual Membership Renewal is for subsequent years of membership. Membership is compulsory and renewed annually on 1st March each year.
Note: The Dojo-Cho will discuss membership with each perspective student some conditions apply.
Dojo RulesMembers are expected to agree to and comply with the organizations rules. The Nanzan Dojo Australia, Dojo-Cho are both responsible to Soke, Tanemura Sensei to ensure all the organization’s rules are complied with.
GWNBF/KJJR/JKWF & ATWF Rules & Systems governing all affiliate dojo world wide are listed on the Honbu website.Additional rules governing students at Nanzan Dojo Australia are available from the Dojo-Cho.
The additional Nanzan Dojo Australia rules take into account specific Australian government and sports regulations.
Failure to comply with either set of rules may result in disqualification of membership.
